Stratus Vineyards
Stratus Vineyards is one of the Niagara Regional Wineries that uses the traditional assemblage approach, combining grape varieties to create a single wine. Other techniques used with this approach are the viticultural practices and gravity-flow innovation. All of these combined techniques help Stratus winery produce the small quantities or quality wines from the 55 acre vineyard. Stratus was also Canada’s first winery awarded with the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification from the Canadian Green Building Council and is the first winery worldwide to receive the designation.
