Reif Estate Winery
The style of winemaking has been used by the Reif family since they were working in a winemaking town in Germany. In 1977 the first parcel of land was purchased by the founder of the estate winery Ewald Reif. By 1983 the Reif Estate Winery had it’s own 125 acre vineyard and was an established winery located along the Niagara River. Some of Niagara’s oldest vineyard blocks are located on the sub-appellation of the Niagara River. The vineyard plants only vitis vinifera varieties and all Ontario Wines are within VQA standards and are made with 100% Ontario Grapes. This winery is the home of many great winemaking and sensory tours along with wedding options.
Overview
Winter Weddings
The standing reception ares of the winery can accommodate 120 guests in a romantic setting with warm and inviting fireplaces. The dining area is candlelit and showcases the dark polished woods and the stained glass windows. The dinner is a formal and intimate setting for up to 60 guests with two fireplaces, creating an elegant atmosphere.
Summer Weddings
For the perfect summer wedding inthe beautiful Niagara Wine Region, take advantage of the house and an acre and a half of the gardens. The winery has a wrap-around verandah for Cocktails and Alfresco Dining. The North Lawn of the estate cam host the ceremony and dinner of up to 150 guests.

Tasting Bar Open Daily
Samples of red and white wines are available at the wine boutique, first glass is free, the subsequent glasses cost $1.00 to $5.00 each
Sensory Wine Bar
Blind Tasting – a flight of four white or red wines $10 and $12/person respectively
Taste the Terrior – flight of four wines $15/person.
Red Wine Experience – flight of four wines $18/person
Discover your Umami – Flight of four wines $20/perosn
Artisan Wine and Cheese – flight of four wines and cheeses $25/person

Guests can explore the wine sensory garden and enjoy the colours, aromas and flavours that describe the wines produced here.
New Wine and Herb Experience
This tour is available Saturdays at 3:30pm from may to October and cost $30/person. The tour allows guests to sample five estate bottled wines paired with five local herb inspired dishes.

Legacy Tour and Tasting
This tour takes guests on a historic journey of the creation of the Reif Winery, and includes a tasting of Riesling, Cabernet Merlot, and Vidal Icewine. The tour is available 11:30 am and 1:30 pm daily from May to October – $5/person
