Henry of Pelham Family Estate Winery
The Henry of Pelham Estate Winery has been family owned and operated since 1988. Located on the Short Hills Bench, at the base of the Niagara Escarpment, this premium winery tends to the 170 acre vineyard on the property and take the low yield approach. The Henry of Pelham produces only small batches of premier VQA approved wines of the highest quality. This Estate Winery in Niagara is the largest grape grower in the small sub-appellation of the Short Hills Bench.
This winery only grows the Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet-Merlot varietals to produce true reserve fine wines. Depending of the grape type, the winery will age the wine for up to 234 months in French Oak Barrels. The white wines produced here are released 2 years after the vintage date and the reds are released after 3 years.
