Sawmill Golf Course
Sawmill Golf Course is a great Par 71, 6475 yard golf course in the Niagara Region. This picturesque 18 hole golf course was designed by Nicol Thompson & Gordon Witteveen. This course is situated in the Niagara award winning winery region and offers well-manicured fairways, undulating greens, tranquil ponds, and numerous bunkers add to the challenge and beauty of every hole.
Overview
New improvements were added to this stunning golf course including:
- New Drainage on some greens
- Trees were cut down for extra light
- New oak, maple, tulip, locust and ash trees were added
Sawmill is a proud member of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System of Canada (ACSSC), only the 27th golf course in Canada to receive this prestigious designation and the first in the Niagara area. This group protects the natural scenery of the land on which the golf course was built on to maintain the picturesque scenery at Sawmill.
