Butterfly Conservatory
Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory features over 2,000 free flying butterflies. Paths wind through the rainforest setting, past a pond and waterfall and the Emergence window. Dozens of different species of butterflies move through the climate-controlled 11,000 square foot conservatory.

Overview
The Niagara Parks Commission School of Horticulture grounds are home to the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory, home to over 2,000 free-flying butterflies. The butterflies are free to fly in an enclosed tropical paradise filled with flowers, trees, and plants that are found in rainforests. Visitors will also benefit from seeing the growth room, a room that reveals the different stages in a butterflies life egg, larvae, pupa, and adult butterfly.
