Canada’s largest wine festival will mark it’s 70th year when it kicks off on September 17!
An annual Fall tradition, the festival began as a celebration to mark Niagara’s grape harvest and the impact the industry has on the Niagara Region. This year’s event is different than previous years with festivities at wineries spread over two weekends and accessible by purchasing a Grape & Wine Discovery Pass.
Passes are $49 per person and include 6 wine and food pairings at your choice of 20 participating wineries from Twenty Valley to Niagara-on-the-Lake, and are valid for experiences on September 18-19 and 25-26. Discovery Passes can be purchased online in advance or at the wineries.
To make the most of your Grape & Wine weekend, festival insiders recommend that you plan your route in advance and reserve your spot at your preferred winery!
The 2021 festival also features a “Best of Montebello Concert Series” with The Caverners, The Figure Four, and JONESY. The ticketed concerts are outdoor on the lawn at the St. Catharines First Ontario Performing Arts Centre on September 17/18.
Make a weekend of it, and reserve your stay in Niagara Falls!
